Dear Parents/ Carers,

I can't believe how quickly this term has gone! It has been a fantastic spring term - full of learning and exciting opportunities for our children. A really big thank you to you all for your continued support and for choosing to send your children to our wonderful Barford! We are saying goodbye to some of our staff this term: Miss Hayles will be leaving to start her new promotion as Assistant Head at another school. Mrs Burton and Mrs Hibell (who is returning from her maternity leave) will be taking over from Miss Hayles after Easter in year 6 Laurel. Mrs Begum, our Reception Teacher, will be leaving to have her baby and Miss Akhtar ( who has already started with us,) will be taking over Reception Apples at the start of the summer term. Mrs Ahmed will also be starting her maternity leave after Easter. In our school office, Mr Lilly (our Finance Officer,) has left to pursue another career and Miss Taylor (not our EYFS Lead!) will be replacing Mr Lilly as our new Finance Administrator. We wish all these staff well in their new ventures and thank them all for their hard work at Barford. We will be offering 'meet the new teacher meetings' to all parents and carers after Easter so, you will have the opportunity to meet your child's new class teacher. Finally, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter break and the sun shines for you all !! We look forward to seeing you all back Safe and sound on Tuesday 9th April (Monday 8th April is our teacher training day.)
